Use node resources for other workloads such as application servers
In many proprietary storage systems, hardware is effectively reserved for storage workloads, leaving a significant portion of its resources unavailable for other purposes.
Xendure uses standard servers, and only part of each node’s RAM, CPU, and processing resources is consumed by internal storage services.
As a result, nodes can also be used for workloads such as Web Servers or Application Servers. For example, a 20-node cluster can provide storage capacity while also providing 20 physical servers for other workloads.
