Increase usable capacity online by adding disks or nodes without reconfiguring the system
After a RAID array has been created, changing its structure usually requires rebuilding the array and, at large capacities, creating a very large backup. RAID controllers also support only a limited number of disks.
Xendure’s distributed architecture allows the number of nodes and disks to grow to very large scales.
Every newly added node or disk provides immediately usable capacity without changing the existing configuration. Adding nodes also increases system performance.
