Protect critical files more strongly by assigning different protection levels to individual files
In a typical RAID system, all data is protected using the same redundancy level, with no practical way to assign stronger protection to more important files.
Xendure can assign different protection coefficients even to individual files. For example, a less critical file can use a 16/20 protection ratio, while a more important file can use 15/30 protection.
This capability can reduce the need for second and third copies and decrease reliance on additional backup media for critical data.
